crazy picture heavy post

A few days ago we went to The Children’s Garden of Sarasota. If you ever find yourself in the area, please go! It’s really wonderful. Designed, built & operated by a family of artists. There is nothing cookie cutter about this place- so homey, artsy, original, cozy & magical. There is an outdoor amphitheater with tree stumps for seats, butterfly gardens, a little cabin with quiet rooms dripping with ‘apples’ & ‘vines’, fairies, books & teddy bears. Art created by children everywhere, a big room with hundreds of costumes for dress up. Nothing about it screamed media, marketing or advertising which made us like it even more. Lovely, lovely.
So if you would like to indulge in my obsession with this place, please see more shots taken by Hans & I under the cut ;)
