We had a few old friends via NYC & Paris here for the weekend. It was soooooooooo wonderful. It is always fun to see Utrecht by foot rather than always zipping through on the bike, too.

On Saturday we escaped Queen’s Day madness with 2 friends & cycled through tulip field country {Lisse}. Unfortunately the millions of tulips bloomed early due to warm weather in March, so we missed the height of the blooming fields. Lovely nonetheless!

This about sums up quite a bit. On his bike looking longingly @ ‘The Pool‘. Otherwise known as the skateboarding pit. Definitely a benefit of living in the city- it’s right down the street by one of the bigger parks & provides hours of entertainment ;) The kids that hang there are cool, too & already I have images of Little Man flying through the air on his own board.

Yesterday was the Sunday Market in Amsterdam, but this time I shared a space with my baker friends {extraordinaire} Ken & Jur of American Baking Company. Also participating was our friend C; selling organic plants & cut flowers. Great crowds, good sales for all &….mojitos ;)
